My Feelings and reactions on what had happened @ KIPP
In schools, we are supposed to be perfect, right? With perfect grades and perfect math scores and perfect this and perfect that, well in reality most schools don’t care about the children that they teach. I know one school that does. The very school I go to. In our small charter school outside of San Lorenzo, California, we, KIPP Summit Academy, are a ‘perfect’ school, right? In fact no we are not. We may have great grades, and a great library, but our attitude and actions affect not only us, but everyone around us.
About a week ago, two students were throwing rocks over into a neighbor’s back yard, trying to get it into the neighbor’s pool, and in the process, breaking a window. We all decided that we were really sorry and wanted to try to help fix that window that the two students had broken. We are really sorry that they had to pick up for something that they didn’t even do. We are also sorry about how the community might feel about our school, and how we are not the well behaved kids we are.
I feel that everyone was to blame for this incident. I feel really sorry for the people that live in this particular house, because their house was violated, and they had to pick up after something that they didn’t even do. I think that someone could of stud up for our team, so that we wouldn’t have to go all the way to this big dilemma. I really think that the people that had thrown the rocks would be really sorry for what they had done. I wish that they didn't do what they did, but we can’t go back in time, to re-do something but all we can do is try to prevent that from happening again. Also what I feel is that I could have done something about this, because I saw that they were throwing the rocks, but I encouraged them by laughing.
If there was anything we could do to improve the community, we would be glad to fix it. What we could do to improve our community is to ask them to for give us, and possibly be able to gain all of there trust back in to the community. We could send out card that show how sorry we are, and how we could be a better school. We are really sorry about what had happened.
I wish that we could go back in time, but we cant, all we can do is fix the problem, so that it never happenes again. We could have all stoped it, but we chouse to laugh at it instead. we all became a part of this community, but we all chouse to not be apart of it, so that we could have had more friends. I wish that i was responcible enough that i would of stopped them. I really wish that we could go back in time and re-do that moment.

This is just something I have started to write in my free time:
(if anyone cares)
On a gloomy day just like this we would sit inside, look out the window and hope that the day would get brighter, but on the other hand some are in a world of there own dreaming about how they can make life better as we know it. I, unlike any other girl, would write about the tragedies of being rich. Even though we were rich, we had no time to spend together as a family; my brothers thought it was a good thing that our parents didn’t pay any attention.
I am 15 years old, and live in England with my mother, father and my two brothers, Jack and Drake. We are indeed rich and have several butlers. My mother is a world famous fashion designer, and Father is the secretary for the King of England. I am entering the 10th grade this year. I am getting tiered of the summer and was just waiting for the school year to start even though I strongly dislike school. Not because I have no friends there, because I have plenty of friends.
“Annie, do you know were your brother is?” Mother asked. Mother was in a brand new blue designer suite that she had designed a year ago.
“I think he went to the park with Josh and Eric.” I replied, “Father, when are we go to go school shopping?”
“I don’t know, how about this Tuesday? No wait I have to fill in for Winston,” Father mumbled, “Okay, I can do it, two weeks from Monday. Does that work?” Father was waring a black suit, a black tie, and a white dress shirt.
“No, Father, that’s when school starts.” I tried to stay calm, “Here, you know what, you can just give me money and I can go shopping by myself.”
“Yes, that will work, here is two hundred pounds, spend it wisely.” Father handed the money to me. I stuffed it into my deep pocket, turned and headed tuard the door.
“Were you going?” Mother questioned me.
“To the mall, for school shopping. Is that alright Mother?”
“Yes, quite alright. Have fun.” Mother said, “Oh yes, take Missy with you.” I looked down at the small Beagle. Her tail was wagging half times more then normal. i grabbed her, my rain jacket, and umbrella, and headed out the door. In no time, I had called a cab and ordered him to take me to the mall. I picked up my small phone, and started dialing familiar numbers.

My friends are very cool people that anyone can get along with. I wish everyone had/has friends like mine. I am so grateful that I have the friends I have today. I have so much with my friends. We have strong relationships, we play around a lot. Just a little bit about what we do: We go to Boomers, we just sit and talk sometimes, we play soccer, and we go to school together, but mostly we go to school to getter. In this world, they are the ones who are always there for me. They are the ones that always have my back no matter what, we always have each other, even if we end up in jail, it doensn't matter to us, as long as we are all happy. Well, sense I have been talking about my friends, and I haven't even named them yet, My friends names are : Michelle, Ashley, Amy, and Shane. What bothers me about some friends of mine is that they don't respect my choice of friends. They don't understand how I pick my friends, I pick them by how much loyalty they have, and by if they are dependable. I wish everyone was more careful on how they pick there friends, they pick the person who is the prettiest, or the smartest, or the most popular, not on there characteristics(which is most important). People aren't aware on what they are doing, which can cause a chain reaction, that leads up to being a really big dilemma. And yes, choosing your friends wisely is a big part of every day Society. I mean if u don't choose your friends wisely, then u will end up with the wrong groups, probably in a gangs, and possibly end up in Jail.
I think that if we stop judging people on how they look and how popular they are, then the world would be a better living environment for everyone. If we just stopped judging people. Yes, I know that its very hard to brake out of old habits, but if we did so, every human would be a more caring more loving person. The world would change all together. And everyone would be happier at all times, we wouldn't feel so scared at our house, or on our streets. I don't think its right to feel scared on our own streets, and in our own houses. Its just not right!
